#7 Nike Air Jordan VII: Hare Jordan 1992
Debuting during the 1992 Super Bowl this was yet another in a long list of Weiden + Kennedy gem’s. It cost over 1 million dollars to create (not including MJ’s salary) and never before had anyone seen the likes of a cartoon coupled with an athlete to sell a shoe. The commercial was so popular that it ignited a craze for Warner Bros. clothing that spread like wildfire -if you wore a Bugs & Taz shirt from 92-93 then you can thank this commercial for sparking that trend- and it would be the predecessor to a little film titled Space Jam thus solidifying this commercials place in the top 15 sneaker commercials of all time.
