It’s widely considered that Scottie Pippen was the best teammate that Michael Jordan ever had. MJ has gone out of his way to heap praise upon Pippen. Even going as far as to argue that his name shouldn’t be mentioned without including Pippen’s. That’s a kind gesture and extremely high praise, but we have to disagree with the popular opinion on this one. It’s clear as day that the best teammate MJ ever had was Bugs Bunny… that’s right, ole Hare Jordan himself. Together the two saved the galaxy from Mr. Swackhammer and the Monstars. Keeping the Looney Tunes free and returning the stolen skills of several NBA stars (Patrick Ewing, Charles Barkley, Larry Johnson, Muggsy Bogues and Shawn Bradley). And dare I say, that’s far more impressive than six NBA Championships. Back in ‘92 Bugs debuted a now iconic color combo of the Air Jordan 7. 28 years later Jordan Brand is bringing the infamous color scheme to the Air Jordan 6.
Dubbed the Air Jordan 6 Retro ‘Neutral Grey,’ this retro-inspired colorway mirrors the ‘92 original. A neutral grey upper is paired with white overlays. A perfect combination for the approaching summer. True red, court purple and black accents are the perfect complement to the clean upper. The citrus-colored lace toggle is an ode Hare’s affinity for carrots.
