NBA All-Star
After a promising rookie campaign, Wade cemented his spot as one of the game’s brightest stars. His electric play in the playoffs and the Miami Heat’s addition of Shaquille O’Neal upped the pressure and had all eyes on the young guard. His new teammate would give Wade the nickname Flash. Wade responded in-kind by improving every aspect of his statline and earning his selections as an All-Star and a member of the All-NBA and All-NBA Defensive teams. He was a virtuoso on both ends of the floor and if not for injuries (a reoccuring theme in Wade’s career) Wade and the Heat would’ve likely made the NBA Finals.
