Air Jordan Retro 6 Low “Infrared”

Share

Get Low like Lil’ Jon said back in 2003 with the Air Jordan Retro 6 Low. We’ve seen the Retro 6 be released many times over the past year in some OG colors and some new colorways that people fell in love with. The most popular of last year had to be the Air Jordan Retro 6 “Infrared” which came out on Black Friday of last year and brought OG sneakerheads out of the woodwork to cop one of their all time favorite classics. When it comes to JB and Infrared on any shoe you know that its gonna be hot cause those two things work well together like a well drawn up pick and roll.

The Retro 6 holds so much history with Jordan since it was his first signature sneaker that he wore on the way to his first NBA Championship in 1991. So many color ways have become in some eyes “historical”, like the White/Infrared VI, Black/Infrared VI, Carmine VI, and the Infamous Beijing 6 for the 2008 Olympics. In 2002 we saw Jordan Brand chop the top on the Retro 6 and the low top version was born in the Black and Chrome colorway. JB is bringing back the Retro 6 Low for the first time since 2002 and they plan on making it known that the shoe was hot then and it still is.

With summer time here and the temperatures rising and everyone bringing out their shorts and tank tops, you need a low top pair of kicks that has some flare to them. The Air Jordan Retro 6 Low make their debut this summer with the “White Infrared” Color very similar to the high top version but with some added color. They added black to the sock liner, tongue and midsole surrounding the infrared splashes. The white/infrared/black color blocking is perfect for the summertime with the clean white upper and red splashing around the black outline. Whether you wanna rock these with joggers or some cut off sweat shorts you’ll be sure to stand out with this hot sneaker. Make sure you pick up your pair on July 4th at Finishline.com.
