Cool, Refreshing: AriZona Iced Tea x adidas Originals Continental 80 Vulc
AriZona Iced Tea and adidas sent shockwaves through the sneaker world when they set up a pop-up store in New York City earlier this summer. The two brands sold pair of shoes from their exclusive collection for a whopping 99 cents (the same price as a can of AriZona Iced Tea). Pandemonium ensued and sneakerheads have been trying to get their hands on pieces from the collab ever since.
On the surface it may appear that AriZona Iced Tea and sneakers may be an odd pairing. But, a closer look would suggest that the brand’s iconic branding lends quite nicely to sneaker colorways. Agreeing as much, adidas Originals and AriZona Iced Tea went to work for a collaboration that’s as refreshing and tasty as the tea itself. Serving as the base for the latest drop in this collab is the Continental 80 Vulc. The casual model is getting separate black and white treatments. Both feature contrasting hits of pinks, yellows and greens (the colors made famous by AriZona Iced Tea).
