An Evolution of a Classic: adidas Ozweego
A blast from the past, the adidas Ozweego was a fan-favorite of the ‘90s. The progressive trainer was a boundary breaker and style icon from jump. Its innovation, cultural influence and bold design pushed the sneaker ahead of its time. Dipping into their vaults, adidas is set to bring the popular trainer back. The upcoming edition of the Ozweego is specifically inspired by the Ozweego 3 from 1998. That 1998 model remains a favorite of the streetwear community to this day.
While it’s inspired by the model’s past, today’s Ozweego is a “radical reinterpretation of its predecessor.” It’s been modified and mutated to the point that it’s something completely new and fresh. Popular Adiprene cushioning has been added to the heel and forefoot of this reinterpretation for shock absorption. Each colorway’s unique color blocking and mixed media upper (suede, mesh, TPU) will ensure you’re always standing out from the crowd.
