Jigga always understood the importance of a diversified sneaker rotation and this quote shows us that he’d rock any dope Nike Airs, period. Everything and anything from the Nike Air Revolution to the Air Python – Air Yeezy 2 to Air Max LeBron 9 (remember those Watch the Throne 9’s? Definition of fire). But there’s one Air to rule them all when it comes to Jay-Z and Nike… the Air Force 1. The Rocafella (Jay’s record label) AF1’s retro’ed in November 2017 but there’s also the Friends & Family exclusive 40/40 Club (Jay’s NYC club) AF1’s from ’05 and the hyper exclusive All Black Everything AF1’s from ’10 including a pack of 5 AF1’s auctioned off with proceeds going to the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation.
