On September 3rd, Jordan Brand gives us all a chance to relive those childhood memories of superior quality and exceptional design as the “Banned” Air Jordan 1 returns in remastered form. We can expect the infamous butter soft leather with the flawless symmetry that we all love, the Retro 1 is set to release along side the innovative “Banned” Air Jordan 31. A shoe that gets it origin from the original Air Jordan 1 with plenty on court aesthetics, has all the latest specs by combining Flywire and Flyweave upper for supreme lockdown. It also features a “Bred” gradient effect ending with a black premium leather heel shank to add a luxury feel. This model introduces full-length unlocked zoom with Flight speed embedded in the midsole; so the cushion is felt tremendously in forefoot and heel. To finish the shoe off, Jordan Brand included a blood red translucent diamond pattern outsole reading “BANNED” across the bottom to pay homage to the original.

For anyone asking what all the hype is about? Well to be quite honest, this shoe is just that good! Everyone can relate somehow. For instance…

The Veteran: the one who doesn’t own one sneaker, but this one in particular causes nostalgia for him, so he has to go and purchase this one pair.
