Love To Hate: The Top 10 Most Polarizing Duke Players
7. Gerald Henderson Jr.
via @ESPN
Years Played: 2006-09
NCAA Accomplishments: Averaged 12.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists
Henderson played 3 seasons at Duke and was known for his aggressive play and supreme athletic ability. All it takes is one play to get a bad reputation though. On March 7, 2007 in the classic rivalry game against North Carolina, Henderson went up for a block on Tyler Hansborough and well, got all face. He left Psyco-T bloodied and angry. The UNC fans never let him forget it as they loudly booed every time he touched the ball until he went to the NBA in ’09.
