The adidas ZX Flux XENO Goes Beyond Reflective

Share

The ZX Flux has been a home run for adidas ever since its initial debut last year. Now, one innovation serves as the welcoming party for another, as we see the sleek silhouette decked out in the all-new XENO material.

At first glance, the adidas ZX Flux XENO looks like it could just be reflective, but that would be a mistake. The material draws inspiration from the Southeast Asia-native Xenopeltis snake, and features similar iridescent scales that give off shimmers of color.

Then, with a flash of light, it all changes. On the Black version, the entire upper transforms into a sea of shades, complemented by reflective black stripes. Meanwhile, the Grey version actually has a reflective upper, but with XENO stripes.

Compared to other shoes, the adidas ZX Flux XENO looks like a sneaker you’d find on store shelves in the distant future. Luckily for you, it’s here in blinding fashion now.
