Stay ready on both ends of the court in the new Nike PG 5
When you’re a supermax player, you definitely want a sneaker whose comfort levels are as high as your contract.
That’s definitely the case for Paul George, who inked a four-year, $190 million extension with the Los Angeles Clippers over the summer.
Comfort is a key focus of George’s fifth signature shoe from Nike, the PG 5.
The new model features the same full-length Nike Air Dot Weld Strobel cushioning as its predecessor in a low-cut, lightweight silhouette.
And just like the Clippers have locked down “Playoff P,” the PG 5’s lacing system keeps the foot secure no matter what intensity you’re playing at.
Throw in an outsole with sticky multidirectional traction for quick changes of pace and you’ve got a hoops sneaker that performs on both ends of the floor.
The latest PG 5 colorway pays tribute to his lifelong love for Sony’s legendary video game console.
The ‘PlayStation™5’ edition, the latest in an ongoing collaboration with the electronics company, features a crisp white upper with black sockliner, laces and tongue as well as accents of blue and grey that mimic the design of the next-gen console.
UPDATE, 6/16: The Nike PG 5 ‘PlayStation™5’ will now release on 6/25.
