What’s old is new again with the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘Shadow 2.0’
As far as true OG colorways of the Air Jordan 1 go, we don’t see them very often.
Sure, we get similar color combinations now and then, but those recreations of original models are few and far between.
Earlier this year, Nike dropped 23,000 pairs of the AJ1 Retro High 85 ‘Neutral Grey’ in its true-to-the-OG cut, but it’s been a couple years since the last 1985 colorway hit.
The famed ‘Chicago’ pair hasn’t seen a release date since 2015, with the ‘Banned’ presentation last emerging in 2016. The following year brought the OG ‘Royal’ colorway, while ‘Shadow’ came back in 2018 to high acclaim.
So it’s little surprise that one of the more sought-after Jordan releases this Spring is based on an original colorway, albeit with the script flipped.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘Shadow 2.0,’ arriving 5/15, once again brings together Black and Light Smoke Grey tones, the latter in nubuck overlays on top of the genuine leather uppers.
Black and grey may be colors more suited to fall and winter wear, but nobody says you can’t keep these on ice ’til the weather cools down a little…or just break them right out of the box and rock ’em all summer, because nothing’s cooler than being in the shade.
Grab a new twist on an old classic when the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG ‘Shadow 2.0′ releases in Men’s and Kids’ sizing on 5/15. Keep it locked on @finishline for up-to-date reservation details.
