This luxurious AJ6 Retro celebrates the strength of women around the world
Everybody knows about Valentine’s Day. Candy, flowers, dinner dates you have to book weeks in advance.
But did you know there’s a holiday just for the folks who don’t have (or don’t want) someone special to share it with?
Singles’ Day, which originated at a Chinese university in 1993, falls on Nov. 11 every year and it intended to celebrate the honor of being single. It’s grown in to the largest online and in-store shopping day in the world, blowing the United States’ Black Friday out of the water.
But even if you weren’t aware of the holiday, the folks at Jordan Brand were, and the latest Women’s-exclusive retro out of the Jumpman stable is designed to “celebrate the strength of community in women’s basketball and women everywhere.”
The Air Jordan 6 Retro ‘Singles’ Day,” arriving on 11/25, features an upper with black suede overlays layered over panels of intricate floral embroidery that cover the shoe.
More luxurious details include a braided lace cover in deep crimson with gold Jumpman ornaments to set off the look.
Treat yourself to a late Singles’ Day gift when this gorgeous Air Jordan 6 Retro releases in Women’s sizing at FinishLine.com on 11/25.
