North Carolina! C’mon & Raise Up with the Air Jordan 3 Retro ‘Valor Blue’

Michael Jordan arrived on campus at the University of North Carolina in 1981. As they say, the rest is history. MJ would help the Tar Heels capture the NCAA Championship in 1982 (his freshmen year) and he’d go on to be named a consensus NCAA All-American in 1983 (sophomore) and 1984 (junior). His #23 now hangs in the rafters at Chapel Hill. Despite graduating from UNC 34 years ago, MJ still has a strong affinity for the school. That’s evident by his appearances at games, donations, and the school being under his Jordan Brand banner. JB & MJ are continuing the love for UNC with the release of the Air Jordan 3 Retro ‘Valor Blue.’

This updated take on the classic AJ3 comes in a clean white and Valor Blue color scheme. An homage to MJ’s alma mater. As customary, elephant print graces the toe and heel of the upper. Navy accents and a Tech Grey outsole finish off this Tar Heel-inspired colorway.
