Air Jordan Retro
Turn Heads All Summer With The Air Jordan Retro 6 ‘Reflections Of A Champion’
As Jordan Brand has done over the years, reflecting on the past accomplishments of MJ with storytelling through footwear has become a staple in the brand’s plans. Now, to honor Michaels first three-peat with the Bulls, they are releasing the three shoes that he wore to win championships and they feature a common theme. The featured shoes are the Air Jordan 6, Air Jordan 7, and the Air Jordan 8; a nod to the sneakers MJ wore during championships from ’91 to ’93. Mike didn’t only win championships during that time, he also won three scoring titles and three finals MVPs.
Now, the sacred ‘Infrared’ Retro 6 that Jordan wore during his first title run swaps that all-black upper for an eye-catching 3M. This isn’t the first time that Jordan has decked out a retro in an all 3M upper with the first being the ‘Green Bean’ Retro 5 back in 2006 and the most recent being the Air Jordan 5Lab3 pairs back in 2014. Fast forward to present day and we’re being blessed with a brand new Retro 6. The retros entire upper features a reflective material that is complimented by Black detailing on the sole and tongue and Infrared accents on the mudguard and Jumpman logos. Along with its flashy 3M upper, the shoe also features Nike Air on the heels and is finished with clean icy outsoles.
