Both changed the running and basketball sneaker landscape forever and now in honor of Air Max Day, Jordan Brand is honoring the Air Max 1 with a special Air Jordan Retro 3. Back during the 2018 NBA All Star Weekend, Jordan released the first Air Jordan Retro 3 ‘Tinker’ that was originally a sketch that almost became the Air Jordan 3 but is an alternate to the retro that MJ ended up wearing
Like the classic Air Max 1, this Retro 3 comes dressed in a White, University Red, and Neutral Grey colorway that keeps the same shape of the running silhouette. Honoring the OG Air Max 1, this pair features a White leather upper with four interchangeable Swoosh logos that you can switch out and style to your liking. Instead of the classic elephant print that we’re so used to seeing on the Retro 3, Red suede takes its place to compliment the White upper and match the ‘Nike Air’ on the heel tabs.
