The Air Jordan Retro 6 Gets A Fresh ‘Flight Nostalgia’ Colorway

Share

Jordan Brand bodied 2018 like MJ on Muggsy Bogues in the ’90s and now they’re taking it up a notch to start 2019. When it comes to the sneaker world, some colorways get passed over for not having the “MJ effect”, which is the tie of Jordan wearing them in an important game or making a memorable play that people will never forget.  Most people think of the Retro 13 when they hear a Jordan Retro in the ‘Flint’ color scheme. JB has never shied away from adding old color schemes to new silhouettes in its storied history and that’s just what we get on the next Air Jordan Retro 6.

Being one of the more popular non-original colorways from Jordan Brand is the ‘Flint’ color blocking, which was made famous on the Air Jordan 7, and later used on the Air Jordan 9, and Air Jordan 13. This Retro 6 gets done up with Grey suede covers the shoe’s underlay in a weathered-looking material while White leather is utilized on the rest of the upper. Black details break up the look, while hits of Indigo and Infrared add pop at the heel, tongue, and sole. Also unique to this colorway is a new branding tab on the lateral side that we’ve never seen on this model.

Grab your pair of the Air Jordan Retro 6 ‘Flight Nostalgia’ on January 12th at Finishline.com. Make sure you check with your local store for more release details.
