Jordan Brand Honors Russell Westbrook’s 2006 High School Graduation With Special Retro 10
Being a part of Jordan Brand is a special honor that not many get the honor of. The elite club of Jordan athletes, entertainers, and musicians who are on that special roster get their special pick of product, dope events, and even some get their own retro collaboration or signature model. Like we saw at the Super Bowl, Justin Timberlake got his own special iteration of the Jordan 3 and now Russell Westbrook is getting his own version of the Jordan 10. This won’t be the first Jordan 10 that Westbrook has gotten from JB, back in July of last year, Russell was gifted a special pack of Jordans that honored him winning the NBA MVP Award.
Unlike his previous Air Jordan 10 player exclusives, this pair pays homage to Westbrook’s days at Leuzinger High School in Lawndale, California. The new colorway features a White leather upper with a Black leather tongue and laces, while colorful accents arrive via Red detailing on the lateral side and Blue detailing on the medial side of the tongue which are a nod to the school colors of Russ’s alma matter. Finally, a “Class Of 2006” hit on the left insole on his signature ‘RW’ logo on the right insole rounds off the graduation-ready kicks.
Grab your pair of the Air Jordan Retro 10 ‘Class Of 2006’ on June 30th at Finishline.com. Make sure you check with your local store for more release details.
