Nike Pays Homage To The Soldier 1 With The Nike LeBron Soldier XII SFG
Dressed in its OG colorway. This Nike LeBron Soldier 12 SFG is a nod to when LeBron James torched the Detroit Pistons for 48 points in Game 5 of the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals, which included King James scoring the Cavs’ final 25 points in a 109-107 victory. With the win, James’ would go on to win the series and advance for his first NBA Finals appearance. While time has come and gone since then and LeBron has secured three NBA Championships, it’s the perfect time to honor his first LeBron Solider silhouette.
Now, eleven years later, Nike is honoring that sneaker and that historic moment with a Soldier XII SFG that utilizes the exact same color scheme. Primarily dressed in white, it adds navy to its dual-strap enclosure system and the heel while a regal gold hue provides a luxurious touch on the “LJ23” logo and speckling on the sole. As LeBron and his Cavaliers make their push to get back to the NBA Finals, we may see King James don the court in these at some point.
