The Air Jordan XXXII ‘Black Cat’ Honors MJ’s Rings

When it comes to Jordan Brand and their prestigious history of colorways and story telling, the ‘Black Cat’ theme is up there in the ranks. If you don’t already know, the color scheme name stems from a childhood nickname MJ had. When Tinker Hatfield was designing the Air Jordan 13, he brought the ‘Black Cat’ idea into the limelight, telling Jordan that the way he moved reminded him of a giant predatory cat. Since then, the blacked out colorway has become popular in the brand’s legacy series, dressing up the Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 6, and Air Jordan 13. Now the Air Jordan 32 will join the ranks, and further celebrate Jordan’s winning ways. On the back of its spine, six iridescent circles take center stage with each year that MJ lead to Bulls to an NBA Championship inside. ‘Black Cat’ can be found on the inside of both tongues to further this somewhat forgotten part of Jordan Brand lure.

This Air Jordan XXXII comes dressed in the classic ‘Black Cat’ theme. It features a smooth Black upper with iridescent detailing on its Wings logo and Jumpman logo on the midsole. An icy translucent sole unit completes the story and sneaker in the cleanest way possible. If you’re a true MJ diehard, then you’re going to want to add this to your collection.
