The Nike Air Max 270 Gets Decked Out In Classic ‘OG’ Colorways
The Nike Air Max 270 dropped a little while back in some clean colorways and now some new pairs are about to drop in some real OG colorways that are historic to Nike. When it comes to vintage colorways that people love, the ‘Dust Cactus’ and ‘Aqua Marine’ classics were made famous on the Air Max 180 and Air Max 93 when they first released. Now these two schemes are taking over Nike’s newest silhouette.
As a tribute to that Tinker Hatfield classic, Nike is releasing the Air Max 270 in the original Teal colorway championed by the ’93 icon. This particular version features special Air Max Day insoles that depict the March 26th date alongside the white, teal, and black color palette.
Paying tribute to its predecessors is something that Nike found success doing for years. That concept is practiced no clearer than with the upcoming Air Max 270 “OG” pack that pays its respects to original Air 180 and Air Max 93 color schemes.
Almost immediately, you might recognize the White, Ultramarine and Solar Red colorway from the original Nike Air 180, the shoe that partially inspired the design of the AM270 silhouette. Equipped with the tallest heel bag yet – while it is derived from older models – it helps propel the Swoosh into the future, bringing the wearer even closer to the feeling of walking on air.
Make sure you grab the Nike Air Max 270 ‘Heritage Pack’ on March 22nd at Finishline.com.
