@jennizer: “So classic. A few years ago, I bought a slightly used 2011 pair on eBay for a steal. After some intense cleaning and use of dryer sheets, it looked brand new.”
@ractvshift: “Loved by many. I think it is, without question the most popular Jordan 3 and maybe even the most popular Jordan ever (there are some 11s that could argue for that spot). Just a complete cultural phenomena. Timeless.”
@johngotty: “Easily one of the most important shoes in modern sneaker history. The colorway, the materials, the overall look. Who besides MJ sticks out in my mind when it comes to these? BDP’s KRS-One in the “My Philosophy” video easily. Posted in front of the Jeep with the matching leather and cap. That shit was pure Hip-Hop. Dwayne Wayne and Ron Johnson should get honorable mentions as well for helping nail down how cool these were by rocking them effortlessly on A Different World.”
@larryluk: “My favorite of all the AJ3 colorways. As always with most launch colorways of signature J’s, I love the black version the most. Add the original “Nike Air” logo on the back, and you have a classic that’ll never go out of style. Every time I see someone with this model on, I need to verify if there’s a Jumpman on the back or a “Nike Air” logo before I give my props. LOL!!!”
@nikestories: “There was a piece about Illinois point guard Frank Williams in a 2001 SLAM magazine – he was rocking the BC’s.”
