The ‘Hardwood Collection’ Tradition Continues On This Nike LeBron 15
Nike and LeBron James are continuing the Kings ever-popular signature line with the new Nike LeBron 15. James has been very vocal about how this shoe is his favorite one to date from his line. This high-performance basketball sneaker features an evolved form of Flyknit, cushioning units that combine Max Air and Zoom Air, and a full bootie construction that offers a true one-to-one fit. LeBron signature shoes have always been creative with placement of the Swoosh, and the LeBron 15 is no different as it features the brand logo on the inner heel of the shoe and the tail end of the logo wrapping around to the lateral heel.
Back when the LeBron 7 dropped, Nike dropped a special ‘Hardwood Classic’ collection and they’re some of the most sought after sneakers in the game. Now, the Swoosh is emulating the success of those drops wth a blue and orange version of the LeBron 15. It is not the first time Nike has replicated the retro Cavaliers’ blue and orange color scheme, as it has been seen on other models the likes of the LeBron 14 and the Solder 10 as well. This Nike LeBron 15 sports a full blue Flyknit upper paired with orange accents. You’ll see “B.B.Z” embossed on the inner tabs of the shoe as a nod to his kids (Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri). LeBron also pays homage to his hometown of Akron, Ohio with area code “330” that appears on the inner tab.
