Migos Live T H E G O L D W A Y, The Finish Line Way
Back in August, we announced to the world that we had signed the multiplatinum rap group, Migos and we started cooking up for the C U L T U R E. Instead of simply putting them in a few images, we decided to unleash the trio as Creative Directors for the company. Since then they have already went viral a few times, ran a few photoshoots behind and in front of the lens, as well as dropping new music to keep the masses in check until C U L T U R E II drops.
We kicked things off with two photoshoots with the group; one in Los Angeles where they styled and directed it and the other at their home base of Quality Control Studios in Atlanta. We didn’t stop at these being ordinary photo shoots with the crew, we had some tricks up our sleeve for both.
Every detail was carefully crafted by the group, hand-picking outfits, inspiration, and the final images you have been seeing rolling out in our stores, our website, and Instagram handle. You can see selects from the shoot if you swipe through the gallery above. Our Atlanta shoot with the guys is where we went big on big with the QC family.
We kicked it with the group at QC studios where they were styled in the Nike VaporMax Moc and the whole family had pairs too. They showed us what the Migo lifestyle was all about; dope rides, all ice everything, and stacks on stacks of cash. That night we surprised the guys with their own Finish Line gold cards. They can use these in any Finish Line store in America and they can grab whatever they want.
The guys were in shock and couldn’t believe it. Quavo posted on his IG story that he loves shoes so much and this was a blessing. Peep the video above. It didn’t take long for him to put this card to use as he hit the nearest store and copped some presents for the fam for the holidays. We weren’t done yet though…
Last Tuesday, we teamed up with Quavo and Mache Customs to help him give back to his high school basketball team with custom LeBron 15’s that only the basketball team has, King James doesn’t even have a pair.
Quavo Huncho shut down the internet that following day as the news broke and he received praise for giving back and was dubbed “Robin Quavo Hood’. LeBron caught wind of what went down and took to social media to applaud Quavo and gave props on the dope kicks.
Talk about finishing 2017 strong, but we’re nowhere close to slowing down as we have big plans for 2018. With Migos about to start touring again and C U L T U R E II around the corner, they may be popping into your local Finish Line store to cop some new gear. You’ll want to be hitting up your local store on the reg now to make sure you don’t miss ’em.
