Be Like Mike feat. Michael Crabtree
In the 26 years since Gatorade’s iconic Be Like Mike commercial first aired, millions of young athletes have done their best to emulate Michael Jordan, arguably the greatest athlete to ever walk the planet Earth.
Michael Crabtree of the Oakland Raiders spent his childhood trying to be like Mike and it came full circle when he was chosen as one of a select few NFL players to sign an endorsement deal with the Jordan Brand. Along with sharing a first name with MJ, Crabtree has put together an impressive NFL career by attempting to bring Jordan’s competitive spirit and work ethic to the football field.
With Gatorade and Jordan Brand partnering to release a brand new Be Like Mike collection as well as the Air Jordan Retro 6 ‘Gatorade’, Crabtree spent an afternoon with Finish Line in Oakland, rocking the Retro 6 and the Be Like Mike Long-sleeve Tee.
Crabtree’s advice for anyone trying to be like Mike? “Be competitive. Be stylish. Be outta this world.”
