The Air Jordan Retro 11 ‘Win Like ’96’ Honors MJ’s ’96 Season With The Chicago Bulls
The holiday season is one of the biggest times of year in the sneaker world. For Jordan Brand, this time of year has always been big for them as they drop some highly touted retros for Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the day after Christmas and this year they are mixing it up. Last month, JB dropped the Air Jordan Retro 11 ‘Win Like ’82’ that honored Jordan’s NCAA title-winning shot in the 1982 Championship Game. This year was the first year in a long time that they didn’t have a Black Friday release but they’re making up for it with two Retro 11 launches.
The ‘Win Like ’82’ honored MJ’s shot at UNC and now the ‘Win Like ’96’ is honoring the 1996 Chicago team that took the league by storm and won a record-setting 72 games. This retro comes dressed in a gym red, white and black color scheme. The Air Jordan 11 features a gym red mesh and patent leather upper with a black Jumpman logo on the heel.
