Fall/Winter Prep with the Best Boots
It’s that time of the year where the rotation transitions away from summer staples for fall/winter prep. Statement slides and breathable beaters get exchanged for something more rugged and versatile for the weather ahead. Here are our some of our favorite boots for the season.
Timberland 6 Inch Classic
From humble classic to an American icon. The 6 Inch Classic was first introduced in 1973. The 6 Inch Classic wasn’t created to be a part of any trends. It’s waterproof upper, craftsmanship, and overall durability were built for function. In the 90s, the humble wheat boot took off as a style icon after hip hop artists such as Jay Z, Kanye West, and Pharrell were all spotted wearing them. It didn’t end there either. From athletes to musicians, the Timberland trend was gaining attraction with its enduring appeal. This has been a #FallEssential for decades.

The most popular in this line featured rugged materials, solid soles, and colors that matched the outdoors vibe. One of the models that has stuck around is the Air Max Goadome, the paradigm of urban ACG wear. A full-leather uppair is paired with an Air Max Sole that makes this a great outdoor boot even though it’s primarily found in the city.

Rain, snow, sleet or whatever the weather brings, the ACG Manoa are more than well-equipped to handle it all. The minimal upper and high-top silhouette make these boots the perfect go-to.
