The Air Jordan Retro 12 Gets Dressed In The Classic ‘Bordeaux’ Colorway

Share

When it comes to the ‘Bordeaux’ colorway with Jordan Brand, the first thing that comes to mind is the classic Retro 7 that donned the makeup 25 years ago. The Bordeaux color was first introduced on the Air Jordan 7 and featured on the tongue, the 23 logo on the heel, the outsole and the Jumpman logo. Now we are getting the color as a whole on the sneaker and not just accents. Fast forward to today and JB is getting ready to release another ‘Bordeaux’ Retro, but this time it is on the Retro 12.

Taking inspiration from Bordeaux, France’s rich winemaking tradition, this color became an major hit as an accent color in ’91. The Air Jordan Retro 12 now gets a second Bordeaux version, which features a fully-flooded smooth suede upper that is fine like wine. This sneaker is so simple and clean that it is a must-have for any fall rotation.

You can grab your pair of the Air Jordan Retro 12 ‘Bordeaux’ on October 14th at Finishline.com.
