Simply put, the NFL is a better place with Marshawn Lynch on the field. Heralded for his prodigious running ability and unapologetic personality, Lynch is one of a kind. Last seen on the field in 2015 as a member of the Seattle Seahawks, Lynch will now be suiting up for his hometown squad—the Oakland Raiders. Seeing BEASTMODE in the black and silver will be a real treat for football fans. Not just a nostalgia act, Lynch will be expected to contribute to the Raiders who have their eyes set on a deep run in the playoffs. Armed with the likes of Derek Carr, Amari Cooper and Khalil Mack there’s no reason to believe that they can’t make those dreams a reality.
#9 Comeback Season
Injuries are an unfortunate part of the game of football. Last season, we saw a laundry list with some of the NFL’s brightest stars hitting the injured reserve. The start of this season will mark the return of several stars. Players like Luke Kuechly, JJ Watt and Rob Gronkowski found themselves watching from the sidelines, but all are now back and looking to make their mark on the league again.
