Return of Color Rush Uniforms (Honorable Mention)
Earlier this summer, the NFL announced that the Nike Color Rush uniforms would be returning for this upcoming season. Featuring a full-color head-to-toe look, each team’s Color Rush uniform draws inspiration from their past and present. The uniforms are worn as way to bring a unique look and feel to Thursday Night Football. Some of the looks have caused quite the stir from fans league wide. Maybe not everyone’s cup of tea, you have to commend the NFL for trying to spice things up a bit.
Browns on the Rise (Honorable Mention)
Typically not a hotbed for optimism. The Cleveland Browns faithful have plenty of reasons to be excited for this upcoming season. At the top of the list should be the slew of players the Browns drafted this past offseason. Players like Myles Garrett and Jabrill Peppers should help transform that defense, while Deshone Kizer and David Njoku look to finally bring stability to the offensive. Pair that talent with the vision of Head Coach Hue Jackson (a noted quarterback guru), the veteran leadership of Joe Thomas and Jamie Collins and Browns fans should expect a much different season than the one they experienced a year ago.
