BOOMSHAKALAKA! Today marks the 24 year anniversary of one of the greatest video game releasing. NBA Jam released today back in 1993 and is still popular to this day. The classic 2 vs 2 gameplay with insane, highflying dunks, shoves to steal the ball, and catching fire after making three straight shots could be considered one of the greatest sports games ever. When you would play the game you would have to choose two players from a team and you had to choose wisely to make sure they matched up with your opponent since you wouldn’t want two guards vs two centers. The NBA was very different back then compared to now. We’ve got 7 footers pulling threes from behind the arc but you would never see that back in the ’90s.
