The GOAT. Named ACC Freshman of the year and hit the buzzer beater to give UNC a national championship over a Ewing-led Georgetown team. Consensus First-Team All-American in both his Sophomore and Junior year. He was of course, the original Airman.

Only one of eight UNC players to have his number retired by the school. He broke his ankle and missed half of his freshman season. His junior year was his standout year, he was leading scorer of the UNC NCAA Championship team in 1982 and consensus First Team All-American.

Before forgoing his senior year at UNC for the draft, Antawn Jamison won both the Naismith and Wooden Awards as the best men’s college basketball player in the 97-98 season. He is the seventh of eight players to have their jersey’s retired by North Carolina.
