Air Jordan Retro 8 ‘Alternate’
Jordan Brand has become a big fan creating alternate colorways of classic models that MJ could have hit the court in back in his playing days. You may remember that last year when Jordan released a collection of Retros that featured similar color schemes to what Jordan wore but had their own look. The ‘Alternate’ collection consisted of the Air Jordan Retro 2, Air Jordan Retro 5 Low, and the Air Jordan Retro 4 and now we can add this years Air Jordan Retro 8 to the collection.
At first glance you may think that you’re looking at the classic Air Jordan Retro 8 ‘Bugs Bunny’, but these have a little darker look to them. This colorway is a nod to an unreleased Air Jordan 8 that never made it into production. Now that they are getting an official release we almost wish that we could have seen MJ hit the floor in them. This pair comes with a white leather upper that is complimented by red and black contrasting accents and a graphic liner that is finished off with “1993” on the pull tabs completes the design.
