Serena’s influence goes passed the world of sports. She is a pop culture mogul. Her bold and vibrant boundary-pushing style isn’t just limited to the tennis court. She is also a passionate fashion designer which describes her line as “a little bit retro, romantic, and extremely innovative.” She wants her customers to feel empowered when they put on her luxury pieces.

Serena is also no stranger to the hip hop spotlight. There have been plenty of lyrical references amongst the likes of Drake, Kanye, Ludacris, Snoop, and Cam’Ron. Most recently, we got to peep her on Beyonce’s video album, Lemonade where she was featured in “Sorry”.  Best female athlete? Best female tennis player? Boy, bye.

We can all learn something about Serena’s work ethic. Her unmatched passion and dedication  give her a competitive edge against all of her opponents. As stated by Nike, she is the not only the greatest Tennis Player Ever, she is the Greatest Athlete Ever. Happy Birthday, Serena. #UnlimitedGreatness
