3. Cal Ripken and Cal Ripken Jr.
The infamous father and son combination on the Baltimore Orioles is one of the most well known in sports. The teacher and student title was the perfect story for these two as Cal Ripken Sr. was a coach and manager in the MLB. Cal Ripken Jr. played all twenty-one seasons in Baltimore and played third base and short stop for the O’s. His consistent hitting and outstanding defense made him one of the best to play the game.
