Ranking the Top 10 No. 1 NBA Draft Picks
5. LeBron James (Cleveland Cavaliers, 2003)
via @KingJames
It’s tough to place LeBron on this list as he is still playing at a very high level and may very well collect a few more rings. You can’t deny his greatness and the spotlight he has created since entering the league straight from high school. At 6’8 and 250 pounds, King James is a freak athlete with point guard skills.
One of the most heavily criticized players, LeBron has shown his value to every team he plays for. Known for his all around game and being able to play and defend every position on the floor shows his extreme versatility. James is a 2 time NBA Champion and 4 time NBA MVP.
The only thing lacking from his resume is the number of rings, but as mentioned before he is still playing and may win a few more to solidify his case as one of the greatest of all time.
