Nike Air Max BW OG

Air Max enthusiasts rejoice; Nike is bringing you another OG classic from the vault that will set off your rotation. The Air Max BW originally released in 1991 and was apart of the Nike International Series. The BW features the same air-sole unit as the Air Max 90 but has an enlarged window to see through, which is why the BW stands for “Big Window”. Even though the Air Max BW was born in the shadow of both the Air 180 and the Air Max 90, the BW has cemented its place in sneaker history.

The Big Window Runner is back in its true form for this OG release. This “Persian Violet” colorway is a classic thanks to this silhouette. The infamous Tinker Hatfield designed the BW and it quickly became a prevalent choice for both runners and people who were just looking for a stylish pair of kicks. Chalk up another win for Tinker and his creativity.

The last time we saw this color scheme on the BW was back in 2013. Even after all these years, the BW still slices an ominous presence and that polished purple tongue is still breaking necks 25 years after it first hit the streets. Its black upper provides that smooth look we love with hits of white and Persian violet. This retro running classic is sure to mix up your style when you throw this on with your favorite outfit.

Pick up your pair of the Nike Air Max BW OG “Persian Violet” on March 8th at Finishline.com.
