When it comes to styling in workout pieces with every-day wear, Anna Bediones knows how to do it right. Check out these outfit ideas below to get inspired on how to wear your exercise gear more.
WORKOUT
[Sweater: Nike Tech Fleece Cape Bottom: Nike Leg-A-See Logo Leggings Shoe: Nike Air Pegasus 31]
The temperatures are cooling down and rather than fighting it, I am embracing it (kind of) with my current favorite sweater: the Nike tech fleece cape. The unique cut gives the hoodie life and is a great layering piece. For this workout, I wore the cape with black leggings and the Nike Pegasus, which offers a more stable run for the neutral runner.
DENIM-ON-DENIM
[Shoe: Reebok Classic Leather]
Getting the denim-on-denim look right is hard enough on its own (beware the Britney/JT effect). Figuring out the footwear is a whole other story. After some trial and error, I finally figured it out: All white Reebok Classics. They are a clean, minimal sneaker to balance the denim. A bit sleeker than the Air Force 1, less flat than the Superstar, and cleaner than my Chucks.
JERSEYS AND SNEAKERS
[Shoe: Nike Air Max 90]
As you can see, I don’t abide by the no-white-after-Labor-Day rule. On my feet are my Air Max 90s, my first love in the Air Max family. And since I recently received a personalized soccer jersey courtesy of the Finish Line team, it only felt right to rock the two together. I dressed up the outfit with a boyfriend blazer and ripped jeans.
CASUAL DAY
[Sweater: Nike Tech Fleece Cape Shoe: Nike Air Pegasus 31]
As I mentioned earlier, the Nike cape is a great layering piece. It didn’t quite feel like enough to simply wear it with jeans and sneakers, so I wore it under a leather jacket. Pieces of the cape peek out underneath the jacket, and once again, the cape shines through.
