For months, we’ve been seeing a new-look Air Jordan 1 in the classic ‘Chicago’ colorway floating around the internet and wondering what they could mean. It wasn’t until just last week that Jordan Brand broke the news that this release is going down in conjunction with the debut of the animated “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse” movie and everyone’s favorite neighborhood vigilante. The shoes are featured on the film’s cover artwork.

The shoe comes dressed in a Chicago-like color scheme. Getting done up in a mix of Gym Red, Black, White, and Photo Blue on the sole, you could say the classic colorway gets a modern touch. It features a textured reflective upper paying homage to Miles Morales costume. An iridescent-styled Nike Air tongue label gives the shoe an OG-vibe, while sitting atop an icy sole. The spotted upper boasts reflective materials, contrasted by a Black ankle collar and mid-foot Swoosh that makes these super clean.

Back in 1995, Jordan Brand dropped a collection of five Air Jordan 10’s that were called the ‘City Pack’. The five shoes represented the cities of New York, Sacramento, Orlando, Chicago, and Seattle. All the teams in these cities are notable for the times MJ battled with them throughout his career. You may remember that back in 2016 JB dropped a different city collection that was made up of eight cities, some new and old; New York, Charlotte, Chicago, Los Angeles, London, Shanghai, Paris and Rio. Now, Jordan is dropping an OG pair from the 1995 collection that sneakerheads have been wanting to get their hands on.

The Air Jordan Retro 10 ‘Orlando’ has become a classic over the years. One of the most notable facts about the shoe is that MJ never played in it but an opponent of his, Nick Anderson, wore them during Michael Jordan’s first retirement as a player exclusive. Coming dressed in an Orlando Magic color scheme that is too clean, you’ll have a hard time passing. The shoe comes covered in a White leather upper with Black and Royal accents placed on the tongue, eyestay, ankle, heel, inner liner, midsole, outsole, and branding.

When he was off the court, Michael Jordan regularly rotated Nike’s best footwear on a frequent basis. In 1987, right at the time of the release of several iconic Nike shoes, MJ favorited the Air Trainer 1 ‘Chlorophyll’ on a regular basis. Like we saw on the Air Jordan Retro 6 that was released back at the beginning of October, the colorway was inspired by some of Tinkers most famous works that were personal favorites of none other than Michael Jordan himself. Tinker Hatfield’s game-changing Nike Trainer 1, which revolutionized cross-training, introduced the world to Chlorophyll color schemes in 1988.

This next release of the upcoming Air Jordan Retro 3 pays homage to that connection as well as the architect behind the shoes, Tinker Hatfield. It takes on the original color palette of White, Grey, Black, and Chlorophyll Green to achieve that Trainer 1 aesthetic, and given that both silhouettes share the same year of release, the crossover works rather seamlessly. This retro features a Light Grey upper with Black elephant print overlays and is complimented with Green accents that really make the sneaker pop. The highlighting chlorophyll accents are used for the hang tag, lower and upper eyelets, as well as the lining behind to tongue, while a grey outsole tops it all off. If you’re a lover of the Jordan 3 or Air Trainer 1 then you’re going to want to add these to your rotation.

Last year we saw the Air Jordan Retro 1 get remixed with a satin upper in the ‘Royal’ & ‘Bred’ colorways and then Jordan Brand flipped the switch again this year and did the ‘Shattered Backboard’ colorway for the ladies. Now, a new retro model is getting blessed with a satin upper. The ever popular Air Jordan Retro 5 is shedding its leather upper for a smooth satin vibe that brings a whole new feel to the shoe. The ‘Satin’ Jordan 5’s, a prototype colorway from 1990 that never saw a release, prominently features the Jumpman’s classic color combination of black and red that’s been used on everything from the Jordan 4 to the Jordan 11.

A luxury black satin upper sits on top of the Jordan 5’s P-51 Mustang-inspired two-tone speckled Red and Black midsole. Accents are provided by a 3M tongue with a red embroidered Jumpman, tonal Black Jumpman detailing on the heel, and a translucent outsole. For a final interesting touch, “Recognize” and “Greatness” are embroidered on the inside of the shoe’s tongues, nodding to Michael Jordan’s iconic legacy.

⭐️Air Jordan 33⭐️ some like it…. some don’t…. save the harsh criticisms for other folks posts because my block game is strong….with that out the way… I really like the aesthetic of this shoe. The idea was awesome and a step in the right direction for @jumpman23 . I really dig the space theme down to the space blanket in the box. Some people had trouble getting these on. Compared to the Lebron Soldier 10, these weren’t bad to get on. I was able to play in these last night and really liked the on court appearance… look good … play good right? Wrong!! These joints are sooooo tight on your feet. They actually hurt! Maybe it’s my feet but certain shoes almost feel like the burn the bottom of my feet. The cushion in the back of the shoe is so thick it almost feels like your foot isn’t all the way in the shoe. It’s possible they just need broken in but I have been spoiled by the Jordan 31 and Lebron 15. I played in those without a break in period and they were great. I wish they would come out with a laced version of this shoe with the same sole and midsole components of the Jordan 31. I will keep the shoe but I don’t know if I can hoop in it… Just my 2 cents if you are looking to buy today. Honestly, if you are on the fence… go to your local store and try them on…. walk around a bit. If you cop… let me know what you thought about them. Even though were already in the fall season, Jordan Brand is going tropical for their next release. We’ve seen the South Beach colorway take over numerous models throughout Nike Basketball and Nike Sportswear and now the Air Jordan Retro 8 ‘Turbo Green’ seems to have gotten some South Beach inspiration. After being seen briefly earlier in 2018, Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan 8 is back on the calendar for fall with a colorway that will have you wanting to go south for the winter.

Dressed in a White, Turbo Green, and Multi-Color color scheme. This Air Jordan Retro 8 features a White and Light Grey upper highlighted with Turbo Green and Hot Pink accents. A darker shade of Grey covers the midsole, while coming with two additional set of laces to complete the “South Beach” theme. There is also a touch of Orange spotted on the toe and tongue patch. With so many tropical tones taking over this retro you’ll have to fight the urge to head to the beach, unless you got it like that.

Get ready to take on winter in style with two colors of the classic Air Jordan Retro 9 Boot. Its functionality combines with the aesthetic appeal of the Jordan 9, creating a must-have for Jumpman fanatics that aspire to keep their footwear game strong even in the harshest of climates. This season, the Jordan 9 Boot will be reprising its role with two new color schemes, one coming done up tonally in an autumn-friendly Wheat, and the other sporting a primarily black upper with a quick Concord-colored hit on its sole and heel logos.  This winterized version of the revered Jumpman silhouette equips a rugged outsole for traction through the slippery snow, while its upper boasts a durable, waterproof textile. D-ring eyelets and work boot-style laces complete this snow and rain-ready set.

Dressed in a Wheat and Baroque Brown color scheme. This Air Jordan 9 Boot features a full Wheat nubuck upper paired with metal eyelets, boot-style laces atop a Gum winterized rubber outsole. With these being winter ready, you can wear them out in the rain or snow and not have to worry about getting them dirty thanks to their waterproof uppers.

If you’re more of an all Black boot fan then Jordan Brand has you covered with a second option. This winterized version of the Air Jordan 9 features a Black leather upper with boot-styled metal eyelets and rope laces. Concord accents adds some nice contrast while sitting atop a weather-inspired rubber outsole.

Earlier this year, Jordan Brand reached back into the archives to bring some designs to life that never got the chance when they were originally sketched by Tinker Hatfield. So far we’ve gotten an alternate versions of the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 13 that were supposed to be the original design but were then scrapped for other looks. Now, Jordan is releasing a special Retro 6 that honors the legendary designer with a colorway he loved but never got pushed through. The design is the same as the one we’ve loved all these years but is now getting draped in a color scheme that we’ve never seen.

After all these years, this new Tinker Hatfield version is set to release in one of his original color schemes that failed to hit retailers. White and Grey take up the majority of this model’s real estate while flashes of color appear by way of Infrared 23 and Navy accents on elements the likes of its tongue, midsole, and heels. An icy Blue outsole and this silhouette’s customary perforations scattered across its upper complete this new Air Jordan 6 look. If you’re a lover of classic Jordan history, then you’ll want to add these to your collection.

Jordan Brand is on an absolute tear this year and your wallet is probably taking a beating because of them. It seems like every weekend the releases get better and better and their next Retro to drop comes in a new colorway that has never been released and it’s perfect for your rotation for the fall months. The Retro 1 High OG is a sneaker-lover essential and this up and coming colorway is perfect if you’re a Celtics fan. In 2009, the brand released a 60+ Count Down Pack with a very similar Jordan 1 Retro High that came with the more traditional white toe as opposed to the green variety that we are now getting.

Dressed in a Pine Green, Sail and Black color scheme. This Air Jordan Retro 1 features Pine Green on the toe box, tongue label, heel and rubber outsole. Black covers the tongue, laces, Wings logo, Nike Swoosh and overlay on the toe. Finishing off the design is White on the mid-section as well as on the midsole. It’s a smooth colorway that looks so good on-foot. If you’re looking for that new go-to sneaker for fall then these are just what you’ve been searching for.
