Nearly 30 years after the first Air Jordan model released, there’s still no feeling like lacing up a fresh pair of MJ’s finest. Let’s be honest, with the past winter we had, it didn’t seem like summer could come fast enough. We’re getting what we wanted because the heat is definitely here. Peep these Jordan enthusiasts and collectors and how they rock their J’s, and don’t be scared to hit that follow button.

Make sure you post your best heat and tag @Finishline and use the #JordanFridays hashtag and maybe you’ll be featured here and gain some followers and have some sneaker blog glory! I mean, who doesn’t love some social media fame? Need to step up your game? Shop the latest Jordan Shoes now.

The next silhouette to continue the long standing Air Jordan sneaker line is the Air Jordan XXXII. It seems like we just got the Air Jordan XXX and now we are already being hit with another innovative sneaker that will feature the best tech aspects in basketball footwear. Like the Air Jordan XXXI, the Air Jordan XXXII is designed after the model that came thirty years before it. When you first look at the sneaker it may remind you of the Air Jordan 2, with a similar body style and constructed look, but the details are what make this shoe different.

Last month, Jordan Brand unveiled the XXXII to the world, it was designed by Tate Kuerbis, who also designed the Air Jordan XVIII, XIX and XXXI. Featuring  a new Flyknit upper with high-tenacity yarns that offers flexibility like never before and a hidden lace harness that provides lockdown “under the hood”, while the actual design of the Flyknit material has been engineered to mimic the toe-box of the Air Jordan II. Paired with the engineered Flyknit is a molded snakeskin leather and molded suede panel with a detail at the achilles that resonates the sporty and aggressive vibe of a Ferrari supercar. The release of the Air Jordan XXXII ‘Bred’ will be accompanied by the Air Jordan XXXII Low that comes in a similar colorway that features a white midsole instead of a black that is seen on the mid model.

When it comes to the ‘Bordeaux’ colorway with Jordan Brand, the first thing that comes to mind is the classic Retro 7 that donned the makeup 25 years ago. The Bordeaux color was first introduced on the Air Jordan 7 and featured on the tongue, the 23 logo on the heel, the outsole and the Jumpman logo. Now we are getting the color as a whole on the sneaker and not just accents. Fast forward to today and JB is getting ready to release another ‘Bordeaux’ Retro, but this time it is on the Retro 12.

Taking inspiration from Bordeaux, France’s rich winemaking tradition, this color became an major hit as an accent color in ’91. The Air Jordan Retro 12 now gets a second Bordeaux version, which features a fully-flooded smooth suede upper that is fine like wine. This sneaker is so simple and clean that it is a must-have for any fall rotation.

As summer comes to an end and September has come and gone in a flash, Jordan Brand is finishing out the month with a super clean sneaker that your rotation needs. Back in July, JB dropped a Retro 5 in a clean all-red suede colorway that had sneaker lovers adding another red pair to the collections. Now that we’re heading in to the fall and winter months, the styles are changing and so are the kicks. Meet the Air Jordan Retro 5 ‘Flight Suit East’ or ‘Blue Suede’.

The perfect counterpart to the red ‘Flight Suit’ pair from July is here. This new second “Flight Suit” themed colorway is inspired by the vintage Air Jordan warm-up suits, the blue hue dominates the all-suede upper with classic Air Jordan 5 characteristics. You’ll find complementary black detailing on its midsole while a contrasting reflective 3M makes its way onto the tongue in true Air Jordan fashion. If you’re looking for that new go-to pair to give your all-red 5s a rest, then these are perfect for you.

Closing out the summer, #sneakergirls will see a return of Sunblush on the Retro 6 Low. This time the color is highlighted on the translucent rubber outsole. Unlike the Retro 5, this pair is Black. The upper is a mix of nubuck and leather with accents of metallic silver above the outsole. As a low rise sneaker, this design is easy to pair with all kinds of street style and you can walk into fall with kicks worthy of showing off.

Over the years, MJ has shut down the internet when he would appear at camps or events and sneaker blogs would go nuts trying to come up with a name for the colorway and hope for a release date. Jordan played in the patent leather-less alternative only a handful of times during his career and it’’s become more popular for the rare samples to be seen off-the-court than on it. This next release started as a sample pair that was exclusive to his Airness, but now it is headed to shelves to be added to your rotation.

The Air Jordan Retro 11 Low I.E. ‘Fire Red’ is the next pair set to release from JB and it stays true to the Chicago-inspired colorways that we’re used to getting from Jordan. This pair benefits from a vibrant red Elephant Print that covers the retooled mudguard while a black lining and white leather base gives this Jordan 11 Low I.E. an undeniable Chicago vibe that is perfect for any occasion. If you love low-top sneakers then this pair is a must for your rotation.
