The ‘Pure Platinum’ trend for Jordan Brand continues with another Retro getting the clean colorway. We’ve seen the super smooth, all white and silver color scheme don the Air Jordan Retro 13 Low, Air Jordan XXXI Low, GG Air Jordan Retro 11 Low and Air Jordan Retro 4 all before summer has even started. If you’ve been lucky enough to cop all of those then get ready to add the Air Jordan Retro 7 ‘Pure Platinum’ to the collection. You’ll have to live the Young Jeezy life and “kill ’em this summer, I’m doin’ all white everything.”
The Air Jordan Retro 7 ‘Pure Platinum’ takes MJ’s honored 1992 retro to task with a top notch combination of white tumbled leather and platinum paneling in suede that creates a look that’s perfect for Summer 2017. With a colorway so clean, these kicks are pretty perfect for any outfit you can bring together, just make sure you waterproof them so they will stay nice and white.
Make sure you grab your pair of the Air Jordan Retro 7 ‘Pure Platinum’ on June 3rd at Finishline.com.
Another Saturday, another Jordan retro release. This weekend JB is dropping a sneaker that originally donned the name “Nothing But Net” then the “Sweater”, but now is officially being called the “Bright Concord”. The sneaker pays homage to Jordans days in Barcelona as the team captain for the greatest squad of all time, The Dream Team.
Whether you were old enough to see the ’92 team play or not, these 7s will be a great addition to the Jordan rotation. The “Bright Concord” 7s will be a full size run so you can lace the whole fam and be sure to check out our launch locator to see if your store will be carrying them.
The Jordan 7 “Bright Concord” releases on November 14th at 10 AM EST at FinishLine.com
Sneakerheads have dubbed this year “the year of the 7” and for good reason. Some of Jordans most historic Retro 7s have been rereleased this year and even some new colorways that have us retracting our “we only want OGs” statement. The year of the 7 started with the release of the “French Blue” Retro 7 and continued on with some girls only colorways and some new colorways like the “Barcelona Days”, “Barcelona Nights”, and a second rendition of the “Champagne and Cigar” collection. What dominated this year so far has been the Spring “Hare” collection with the “Hare” Retro 7.
This year is the 23rd anniversary of the partnership between Warner Brothers and Jordan Brand coming together back in 1992. The duo of MJ and Bugs Bunny dominated commercials, movies, and clothing that had adults loving the cartoon character more than kids were. Since Marvin the Martian was involved in the commercials for trying to steal Jordans Shoes; JB decided to honor him with a sneaker in his colorway. Decking out the Jordan Retro 7 in a black leather upper, red tongue and green, orange and silver on the sole which resemble the characters outfit. Jordan Brand has also given us numerous clothing options to rock with the Retro 7, like the “Marvin the Martian” collection of shirts, shorts, socks and hats. Make sure you pick up the “Marvin the Martian” Retro 7 and add it to your collection on August 15th at Finishline.com.
