Another Jumpman silhouette gets Nike’s Move to Zero treatment

We’ve only got one Planet Earth, and we’ve got to look after it.

That’s the driving mentality between Nike’s long-lived push for sustainability in its footwear production.

The last couple of years have been big for the Swoosh in terms of unveiling product designed to lessen impact on the environment.

We’ve already seen the futuristic Space Hippie line as well as the Air VaporMax 2020 Flyknit, which is made from at least 50 percent recycled materials in each shoe, and the Cosmic Unity basketball line.

But it isn’t just new silhouettes that are getting the planet-conscious treatment.

Now one of your old favorites has been constructed in environmentally mindful ways, this time from the Jordan Brand stable.

The Air Jordan 12 ‘Utility,’ arriving 8/21, incorporates 3% Nike Grind materials, which are made from recycled scrap and end-of-life shoes.

Highlights in Bright Crimson add some color to the upper, which is dressed in all-black leather with nubuck mudguards.

Take a step closer to sustainability when the Air Jordan 12 ‘Utility’ arrives in full family sizing at finishline.com on 8/21. Keep it locked on @finishline for in-store reservation details.
