An Homage to the Iconic AJ6, the Nike LeBron 17 ‘Infrared’

In 2017 Nike and LeBron James launched #LeBronWatch. The program took some of LeBron’s personal favorite kicks and reimagined them through his signature line. Over the years we’ve been treated to reimagined versions of the Air Max 95, Diamond Turf, Air Mowabb, Air Trainer III and Griffey to name a few. For their latest reinterpretation Nike and Bron are tackling the Air Jordan 6 ‘Infrared.’

At first glance you’ll notice the eye-catching Knitposite upper which comes in black and University Red. The new upper technology blends the soft knit from the LeBron 15 with the strength of the Battleknit from the LeBron 16. The tongue of the shoe is where you’ll get your AJ6 inspiration. Front and center is the chenille ‘23 LeBron’ graphic which is accompanied by the lace lock from the AJ6. The logo on the lace lock utilizes LeBron’s signature Dunkman in favor of Jordan’s Dunkman. It all sits atop a Max Air unit, which is the largest to date in any basketball sneaker.
