From the time it was originally released in ‘97, the Air Jordan 13 cultural phenom. Rocked by Denzel Washington’s character Jake Shuttlesworth in the 1998 Spike Lee joint He Got Game, the AJ13 is a sneaker icon. Designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield, design elements of the shoe were inspired by Michael Jordan’s on-court ‘Black Cat’ persona (speed, fast reflexes, etc.).The lateral side of the shoe even features a holographic cat eye.
This latest edition of the famed sneaker, the Air Jordan 13 Retro ‘Island Green’ will have you thinking about jewelry boxes. A sleek black upper is complemented by ‘Island Green’ accents.
