The Next Evolution of React is Here, Meet the Nike Phantom React Flyknit
Introduced to the running world last year, the purpose of the Nike Epic React was simple: to be a running shoe that could do it all. After 400 samples and 17,000 of miles logged in testing that goal was achieved. Lightweight, durable, well-cushioned and responsive, the Epic React was nothing short of a runner’s dream. It’s next evolution is here, the Nike Phantom React Flyknit.
Taking the adulation behind the first iteration, this new model makes a few key improvements for an improved fit and sleeker look. The first of those improvements is the move to remove the lacing system. Instead, the Phantom features a laceless, Flyknit upper. You’ll get open knit in the forefoot, which allows for more flexibility and closed knit along the toe and midfoot for a more stable fit. Overall, the shoe’s feel is comparable to a sock and “will make you feel as though the Phantom React “disapppers” as you run.” Nike React foam provides a soft feel, impact protection and energy-return. Runners will rejoice at the running-specific, fluid geometry pattern that extends across the outsole (midfoot to vamp) for traction.
Available in men’s and women’s, you can grab the Nike Phantom React Flyknit on 5/2 at Finish Line.
