Run it Back: Nike Air Max Throwback Future
The collection so nice they had to do it twice. Following the success of their original Air Max Throwback Future Pack, Nike has decided to run it back. Doubling down on the boldness, but keeping the message the same. Honoring the past, with an eye towards the future. Like the first time around, color is being used as a vehicle to showcase and accentuate each model’s Air unit. “Our more expressive Air Max models shine with more expressive colorways,” says Courtney Dailey, Nike VP of Color Design. “We use color to show off a shoe’s technology and balance that with foundational grays and blacks.” In favor of the iridescent hues of blues and purples that graced the first collection. This time around ‘Volt’ and ‘Bright Crimson’ are the shining shades that dominate the pack.
