The Future Is Now With the Nike Zoom 2K
Heritage style meets modern comfort on the latest innovation from Nike. Inspired by the bold style that defined the late ‘90s, the Nike Zoom 2K takes cues from the silhouettes that were featured in the Nike Alpha Project. The result is a visually-striking, retro-futuristic fusion.
To achieve that retro vibe, the Zoom 2K boasts an exaggerated heel and brand referencing from the time period from which it was inspired. The upper features a breathable mesh vamp and leather skins around the toe and heel (added durability). A neoprene tongue and webbed lacing system provide a snug and secure fit. It all sits atop a modern, responsive Zoom Air unit which utilizes a cored-out sole for reduced weight and enhanced flexibility. Rubber wings around the sole add a nice aesthetic and enhance stability.
