There was never a doubt as to who would be number one on our list. Unequivocally the best basketball player in the world LeBron James is coming off of arguably his best NBA season at age 33. Still at the top of his game if your team is fortunate enough to secure “The King,” then you should know you’re acquiring more than just a basketball player. LeBron is a brand and having him on your team will pique interest and is great for your community (his return to Cleveland in 2014 brought in an alleged figure of $500 million in business to the city) raise the value of your but more than that he brings a winning culture and the expectation of greatness.
