The Twin Towers

1997 – During the ’95-’96 season, David Robinson of the Spurs would suffer a broken foot that put him out for the year. The Spurs would go 20-62 (the third-worst record in the NBA), but landed the top pick. They would select the undisputed best player in the draft, Tim Duncan from Wake Forest. Robinson and Duncan would go on to be called the Twin Towers, and win two NBA championships together. Duncan would go on two win five Chips total.
