Nike KD X ‘Numbers’
The Nike KD X becomes the first Nike shoe to officially bear the logos of the NBA and Durants team, the Golden State Warriors. We would we guess that there will be many more NBA branded sneakers from Nike now that they’ve become the official outfitter of the league. KD is expected to open the season in these as they come dressed in a white, royal and university gold color scheme. This KD 10 features a white Flyknit upper with GSW-themed Swoosh logos on the sides. Highlighting the shoe is an embossed NBA logo on the tongues and Warriors logos on the insole and outsole, talk about making a quick impression.
Nike Kyrie 3 ‘University Red’
Kyrie Irving has been the talk of the off-season as he asked to be traded out of Cleveland and had basketball fans shocked. Uncle Drew finally ended up being traded to the Boston Celtics, so Nike had to start changing their plans for his signature shoe. Before the Celtics colorways start rolling out, we are getting a ‘University Red’ pair that comes dressed in a mix of red and grey that will end the month of September. The sleek red upper comes constructed in suede with a quilted pattern revealing Kyrie Irving’s signature embossed throughout. An embroidered Swoosh in Grey adds a nice premium touch, all while sitting atop a White rubber sole. Talk about some great detail from Nike and Kyrie.
Nike PG 1 ‘Superstition’
This summer has been unlike any other for Paul George. He was traded to OKC back in June and Indiana Pacer fans weren’t very happy. Since then he has settled down in Oklahoma City and prepared for the season as he and Russell Westbrook look to become the next big dynamic duo in the NBA. A new home for PG means that new colorways of the Nike PG 1 are expected. This first colorway is being dubbed the ‘Baseline’ and it comes dress in a grey suede build with lasered detailing throughout the upper. OKC details appear on the lateral forefoot with “OKC PG13” lettering, which is the first PG1 to rep his new home.
