Long live the queen! As one of the BEST entertainers in the world, today is not only special for Beyoncé, but for all of her loyal subjects #beyhive🐝👑. To celebrate the woman who changes the game every time she puts out a new album, we felt it was appropriate to highlight some of our favorite Beyoncé moments for her birthday.
All the single ladies 💁🏼💁🏻💁🏽💁🏾💁🏿. We dare you to think about Beyonce’s ‘Single Ladies’ without breaking into a little dance. While the video wasn’t flashy or extravagant, the simplicity was so key in letting Beyonce shine ✨ as we all got to hone in on her vocals and killer choreography. The sassy bodysuit, voluminous hair, and bold makeup were paired with an audacious glove accessory to complete Bey’s look. This iconic ladies anthem quickly became a cultural reference. It wasn’t just for the gals though. Even Justin Timberlake joined in for his SNL Skit.
2011 MTV MUSIC AWARDS
Not only did Bey kill the vocals to her song Love On Top, but she announced her pregnancy with Blue Ivy at the 2011 MTV Music Awards. Making this performance one to remember for both Beyoncé and husband, Jay-Z. While in the crowd the father to be was all smiles as his wife dropped the mic and revealed her belly to the fans.
2015 MET GALA
While most of the time Beyoncé is performing on stage or in a music video, she also entertained us all on the Met Gala red carpet with one of the most amazing fashion moments in 2015. From her high pony to the details on her sheer Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci custom made gown, Queen Bey killed this moment.
Definitely housing some of the biggest anthems, just over a year ago, Bey released the Grammy Award winning album, Lemonade. With visually stunning videos for each song, this album is definitely one for the #beyhive books.
On July 14th 2017, the Queen Bey took to Instagram to share the long awaited photo of her one month old twins, Rumi and Sir Carter. Naturally, it was glorious 💖 Of course the photo was taken in true Beyonce fashion as she stands in front of a gorgeous flower walkway cradling both of her babies while draped in a heavenly blue veil. Breathtaking.
